Picton Harbour is a favourite stop for pleasure boaters navigating the sheltered, inland waterway that surrounds The County.  With opportunities for biking, hiking, golfing and fishing in the summer, and skating, snowmobiling and tobogganing in the winter, Picton is a recreational haven for outdoor enthusiasts.

The County Marathon, a Boston Marathon qualifier, takes place each October and draws visitors from around the world. In addition to local tours and trails, nearby campgrounds, including the world-famous Sandbanks Provincial Park, help to ensure an active County experience.
